In 2014 and 2015, I filmed two documentaries for Al Jazeera’s flagship Asia-Pacific current affairs program, 101 East.

“A War on Witches” investigates the widespread torture and killing of accused witches in Papua New Guinea’s Highlands region. The film won the Gold Prize for Broadcasting at the 2015 Hong Kong Human Rights Press Awards.

“Strangers in Paradise” investigates the impacts of Australia’s refugee processing centre on Manus Island, both on asylum seekers and the island’s indigenous inhabitants. Filmed in 2015, the documentary captured some of the only vision from inside the facility available at that time.

While in Papua new Guinea, I filmed mutiple documentaries for NGOs based in the country.
